TECHM8 Diagnostics for Windows
- Open the downloaded file. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, choose More info › Run anyway.
- Choose Yes when Windows asks to allow changes. The program needs administrator rights to read sensors and logs.
- For CPU temperatures, click Install CPU sensor driver at the top. It installs PawnIO, the signed open-source driver used by LibreHardwareMonitor, and offers to remove it again when you close the program.
- Open the Stress test tab, pick a duration and press Start. Save the report from the Report tab when you are done.

- For internal TECHM8 use only. This tool is for TECHM8 staff carrying out diagnostics. It is not for commercial use, resale or redistribution.
- Provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Results are indicative only and do not replace a full technician assessment.
- A stress test puts heavy load on the CPU, graphics card, power supply and battery. Run it only with the customer’s consent and stop it if temperatures become unsafe. TECHM8 accepts no liability for any damage or data loss arising from use of this tool.
- Sensor readings use the open-source LibreHardwareMonitor library (MPL 2.0) and the PawnIO driver. Both remain the property of their authors.
